What patients say on Google

“When my husband first started getting care from here, it honestly started off VERY rough as the Dr. only spent a few minutes with him. Every appointment after that got better as they were trying to come up with plans/treatments/meds/etc to help my husband. The last like 8 appointments NOTHING has been done besides being prescribed painkillers. When a "plan" is discussed, we agree to only be denied by insurance due to insufficient information being submitted to insurance from the PROVIDER. This is an ongoing issue NO MATTER WHAT has been sent, discussed, ANYTHING!! My husband was supposed to get a neuropathy test done, did NOT due to insufficient information, also supposed to get injections, again NOPE, due to yet again insufficient information. This has been discussed/messaged/brought up MULTIPLE times with absolutely NOTHING changing, that is UNEXCUSABLE!! Not to mention MULTIPLE nurses there being EXTREMELY rude, argumentative, HORRIBLE caregivers. One nurse there literally talks over you when speaking. Today, 10/15/2026, my husband had his monthly check in. (We have to drive 2+ hours to this office.) He knows, realizes, AND understands that he has to submit a urine screen at every appointment so today was NO different. He checks in, gets paperwork to fill out, turns it in, and we sit in the lobby. He gets called back for his urine screen, there were no exam rooms available at the time he was called back so I waited in the lobby for him to come back out or an exam room becomes available. One became available so the front desk lady (very nice lady btw) tells me which room he will be seen in. It is right across from the restroom he was in so I just leave the door open so he doesn't have to go back to the lobby. A nurse walks by to shut the door, I said no to that as he's across the hall and doesn't know he has an exam room, yet. She then tells me, in a rude tone of voice, that it is a violation of hipaa to have the door open. (I work in a hospital, it's not.) So, then I say that I'll wait in the hallway, she says hipaa to that as well. She then ASSURES me that they will make sure he doesn't walk back to the lobby. So, I hesitantly agree, go back in the room and shut the door. My husband exits the restroom AND WALKS BACK TO THE LOBBY!!! (There was NO ONE out to let him know.) He comes in the room then a couple minutes later, another nurse comes in to inform us that we have to have another appointment scheduled. I, very admittedly, said no to that, immediately. (As mentioned we drive 2+ hours to go to this office.) During this visit with the nurse, she is NOT being professional OR nice, she also kept making "excuses" as to why he couldn't drink some water or anything else as not only would just a couple drinks of water would have been sufficient but the urine tests are sent out. I will say that my husband tried to pee for a good 15 minutes but could not get much out. I have NEVER heard of NOT being able to drink some water for a test, which was refused. I have NEVER heard of NOT being able to see a provider with little to no urine. I have also NEVER heard of NOT following through with an originally scheduled appointment due to the little to no urine. That is truly unacceptable!! Also, not mentioning that when discussing the drive she made it a point to say "every patient drive 2+ hours to get to that office" AND mentioning that SHE JUST SAW A PATIENT THAT DROVE 3 HOURS, if they are so "worried" about hipaa then NOTHING about other patients should be discussed. Overall this office doesn't give a **** about their patients.”

“The NP or Dr will say they sent meds to your pharmacy during your appt and promise over klara that they will be sent before end of day, but never clarify what end of day is. Then, their office closes and you can't get a hold of anyone. And if you're in immense pain, this is not okay. It's not okay say that you sent to medication to a pharmacy during an appointment, and then not actually send it.”

“First off. I have been a patient here at this office for 4 yrs i believe. The Klara app is ridiculous! I understand it can cut down on a pile up on the phone. But there are a couple people that do not answer for days. U have to keep sending messages. Also what do u need front desk people if they aren’t doing anything but sitting there. I never see anyone behind the window do a thing. They only take ur name and give u a piece of paper. Not to mention they aren’t all that friendly. This is the first point of contact. Smile why don’t u!! Then some of the nursing staff aren’t friendly either. I absolutely loved Emily. I also love Haylee. They are both bright friendly willing to help. They pay attention when u need and what u need. I don’t like Dr. Klim. The only reason is he has a very bad habit of not prescribing ur meds in a timely manner. I have taken a controlled substance for 26 yrs now and he has let me do days sometimes weeks from my refill date. This is not trying to get it early either. This is he says ok i sent them to the pharmacy. U check nothing for a couple days. Then u gotta go back to the texting app to contact someone when it is very urgent and they don’t want to answer ur text. So again hate Klara! I have not had one issue getting med refill from anyone other than Dr Klim. If u send a note to medical staff they want to dictate who and when the doc gets a note. They do not have a good back office med staff. They come off as cold and uncaring. There needs to be a lot of improvement at this office that’s why I only gave 2 stars. If it was ran by Emily and Haylee then it would be 5 stars. Sorry but not sorry!”

“Hands down Dr. Klim is one of the best spine surgeons in the area. I have been going to this clinic for about five or six years now. I highly recommend him if you need injections of any kind. Nurse Haylee is also a very excellent Nurse Practitioner who I also see. They both have the upmost patience when working with my husband and I. Not only are we never rushed they all take extra time to talk with us as well. The medical staff almost always respond to my medical questions and concerns very quickly. This makes a world of difference when you are in great amounts of pain. Dr. Klim has been exceptional at caring for me as well as my husband.”
